We've archived over three dozen Early NDT datasheets and images from some of the original Ultrasonic Equipment manufacturers.  These datasheets date back nearly a half century. Take a glimpse into the yesteryears of NDT - as long ago as 1956 - and see what kind of equipment was used in the days when cities had "zones" instead of zip codes. It is fascinating to compare portable equipment from an age where telephone numbers had two-letter prefixes, to the latest surface mount, LCD/Plasma Display units of today.

The C-Scan History pages show THE earliest c-scan images created ANYWHERE in the world. These C-scans were made of course here in Southern California at the previous home of the U.S. Based manufacturer Automation Industries/Sperry Products.  Automation Industries had the largest installed base of C-scan equipment anywhere. Although now defunct, it's legacy and contribution to the birth and development of the C-Scan industry remain with us. It is a shining example of yet another great American invention that has spawned a host of subsequent technologies.
